The MSc in Applied Educational & Social Research is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time program designed to advance both academic and professional research capabilities. This program examines key challenges in educational and social research while providing comprehensive theoretical and practical tools to address them. Participants will focus on their individual research interests throughout the program, culminating in a dissertation project in their chosen specialization. Full-time students can choose between traditional classroom instruction or a blended learning approach combining in-person sessions with online coursework through a dedicated digital platform, offering scheduling flexibility. Part-time study is conducted entirely through distance learning. This program provides an ESRC-accredited pathway (1) to doctoral studies in Education, with international students gaining valuable exposure to the UK education system.
