This 18-month MSc program is designed to equip mechanical engineering graduates with advanced technical knowledge in specialized mechanical disciplines. Between June and August, following the taught component but preceding your final project, you'll undertake an industry placement. While the Department assists with internship applications, securing a placement remains the student's responsibility. Throughout your placement, you'll receive comprehensive support from the University, including a dedicated Strathclyde supervisor.Individual project
As part of the MSc requirements, you'll conduct an independent research project exploring a specialized subject area. This may involve industry-related work or align with Strathclyde's engineering research initiatives.
