Our research aims to create and evaluate approaches that motivate individuals to engage in increased physical activity while reducing sedentary habits across all life stages. We welcome postgraduate research applications year-round. Students can pursue an MPhil or MRes degree within one year, or a PhD program spanning three years (with part-time options available). The PhD program requires three years of self-directed research under faculty guidance, including completion of at least 60 credits from the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Development (PgCert RPD). The MPhil program involves one year of independent research with academic supervision, requiring completion of a minimum 20 credits from the PgCert RPD during studies.
Students require to have a first-class or upper second-class UK Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in a related discipline.
