Our faculty members contribute diverse specializations and perspectives, which our doctoral candidates further enrich and develop. We welcome applications from students whose interests align with our current focus areas and faculty expertise, as well as those introducing novel research inquiries. The department's investigative work bridges humanities, physical sciences, and social sciences, tackling challenges in sustainable energy systems, healthy built environments, urban analytics, heritage conservation, and building performance assessment. Our studies mirror architecture and urbanism's inherently interdisciplinary character, concentrating on practical issues that enhance quality of life.
