This program caters to both construction experts and legal professionals. Construction specialists will explore the legal structure of the industry and examine the legal procedures in large-scale projects, from initiation to finalization. Legal practitioners will deepen their knowledge of construction project management while acquiring specialized legal insights. The Construction Law program is available in both classroom and digital formats, with identical curriculum coverage. Distance learners can access various pre-recorded resources, while all participants enjoy extensive digital research materials. Program Structure Students may pursue this qualification part-time across two years (three modules annually) or full-time within one year. For the Diploma, participants must fulfill: - Four foundational construction law courses - A mandatory Research Methods module - One optional module from the Law School's offerings The LLM track additionally requires either: - A 15,000-word thesis - An extended research proposal - A professional placement - Or an industry-based project Career Development We collaborate with the University's Career Services to provide: - Career strategy consultations - Job application support - Access to graduate employment listings This LLM/PgDip equips legal and construction professionals with specialized skills for intricate contractual work in a field that continuously evolves through judicial precedents and regulatory changes. First- or upper second-class Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in a related discipline. Where an applicant has a lower second-class Honours degree in a relevant discipline, admission may be possible with suitable professional qualifications and/or considerable appropriate experience.
 
Please note: a Law degree is not a prerequisite for entry to this course.
IELTS condition 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
TOEFL (ibt): 80 overall, with the following minimum scores in each component: Listening: 17 Reading: 18 Speaking: 20 Writing: 18
