Key topics include poverty; economic, racial, age, and gender disparities; social justice; healthcare; education; criminal justice; and housing. The field employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to better understand societal resource allocation and progress measurement. This program allows you to explore the socioeconomic challenges specific to Scottish society while placing them in a global context, drawing from disciplines like history, sociology, anthropology, economics, law, psychology, and political science.
