The job market is seeing growing demand for recent graduates who possess both software engineering and web development expertise to create applications for businesses and industries. Distinguish yourself from other new graduates with our Computer Science (Software Development) MSc program, where you'll acquire cutting-edge skills that today's employers highly value.

This program focuses on enhancing your capabilities in application development across various platforms including desktop, web, mobile, and more. The curriculum offers a broad range of topics - encompassing essential business concepts, programming in languages like Java, JavaScript and PHP, and deployment across different device platforms. You'll have the opportunity to explore one of computing's fastest-growing fields from both practical and theoretical angles.
We prioritize your career growth, which is why we provide the option to complete a 12-month work placement before your dissertation. While this extends your program duration, it allows you to build professional networks and gain crucial work experience in software engineering or web development prior to graduation.

Should you decide to exit the program before completing the full 180-credit MSc, you may qualify for a lower qualification if you've passed the required credits: 60 taught module credits for a Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) or 120 taught module credits for a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip).
