This program is crafted to develop tomorrow's professionals, equipping them to effectively tackle the evolving demands in health and social care. Addressing population needs in these sectors represents one of society's most significant challenges, touching nearly every aspect of community life - from individuals seeking personal support to policymakers shaping national healthcare frameworks. You'll learn from approachable, experienced instructors with real-world backgrounds in healthcare or social services, helping bridge classroom concepts with contemporary policies and practices. We also provide a Health and Social Care BSc (Hons) with a foundation year option at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, where students complete their initial year before transitioning to our three-year university program. This pathway helps build essential skills applicable across healthcare, social services, and public health sectors. Graduates receive a BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care degree. Students complete at least 70 hours of practical experience, ideally secured independently in relevant settings, though we provide assistance when needed.
