This program is ideal for individuals aiming to join an independent game studio or create mobile games, while also providing solid groundwork for a software development career in the broader tech sector. As participants in Sony's PlayStation® First Academic Program, we offer access to professional-grade development tools and hardware. Through industry-leading game engines like UE4 and Unity, you'll acquire hands-on experience in bringing game concepts to life. You'll get the chance to present your creations to established studios, with past participants including Playground Games, Ubisoft, Codemasters, Team 17, and Media Molecule. Upon graduation, you'll receive the following qualification: BSc (Hons) Computer Games Development

Qualification Requirements

We use UCAS points in our offer making and welcome a wide range of qualifications. 112-120 UCAS Tariff points GCE A Levels - grades BBC or equivalent Pearson BTEC National Extended Diploma - grade DMM Access to HE Diploma - Pass Access with a minimum of 80 UCAS tariff points. Applicants to Staffs who are taking the Access to HE Diploma receive a reduced tariff point offer as part of our access and participation plan activity UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma - grade of Merit overall OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - grade DMM T Levels - Eligible T Level applications will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of P (A-C) or Higher Pass as a condition of offer IELTS Academic - 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component TOEFL IBT (we do not currently accept Home Edition - Listening: 17, Speaking: 20, Reading: 18, Writing: 17 International Baccalaureate - Pass in IB English Language or Literature‚ÄØHL grade 4 or SL grade 5
