The UK Government has also embraced AI as a key component of its long-term vision, influencing progress in multiple industries. Our BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence program is carefully designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise, preparing you to thrive in this fast-growing field. You'll engage in hands-on projects, gain extensive practical experience, and work with industry-standard platforms. Additionally, you'll have the chance to earn certifications in AWS and Microsoft Azure, giving you valuable, recognized qualifications. The course includes exceptional work placement options with local, national, and international organizations, allowing you to spend a year applying AI to enhance real-world services and products before graduation. You'll build a thorough grasp of AI concepts and their real-world implementation through modules focusing on machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing (NLP). The curriculum blends theory with practice, using tools like NetBeans, PyCharm, and Visual Studio Code to explore programming languages such as Java, Python, and C for creating AI solutions and machine learning models.

Qualification Requirements

We use UCAS points in our offer-making and welcome a wide range of qualifications. 112-120 UCAS Tariff points GCE A Levels - grades BBC or equivalent Pearson BTEC National Extended Diploma - grade DMM Access to HE Diploma - Pass Access with a minimum of 80 UCAS tariff points. Applicants to Staffs who are taking the Access to HE Diploma receive a reduced tariff point offer as part of our access and participation plan activity UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma - grade of Merit overall OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - grade DMM T Levels - Eligible T Level applications will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of P (A*-C) or Higher Pass as a condition of offer International and mature students with different qualifications and experience are also encouraged to apply. Ideally you will be educated in Maths to grade C (Grade 4) at GCSE or above, however, if you do not have this we recommend you to contact the University so we can advise you.
