The curriculum covers fundamental journalism techniques across multiple platforms - print, digital, radio, and television sports coverage.

Students refine their abilities in sports reporting, long-form writing, and broadcast journalism while gaining critical technical expertise in editing and production processes - essential preparation for sports media internships.
Our modern newsroom facilities feature current industry technology. Students contribute to live Sports Newsnight broadcasts via Facebook Live, delivering real-time coverage either from our studio or on-site at sporting venues.
Career Pathways
Our Sports Journalism graduates work across the global sports industry, with strong representation in UK broadcasting networks (including international outlets like Eurosport and IMG Asia). Numerous graduates hold positions at English professional football clubs, with alumni working at most of the 92 league clubs.
