Whether you're in a school, family learning environment, or community setting, you can make a significant impact by supporting others in achieving their goals. Our Education Studies program provides the foundation to begin this rewarding journey. Your career path might include mentoring individuals, assisting those with special educational needs, leading literacy or numeracy initiatives, guiding at-risk youth, or organizing outdoor education programs. The opportunities are vast. You'll gain experience working with diverse age groups—from early childhood to post-16 education—while maintaining flexibility for future career choices. The curriculum consists of two key components: academic study of education systems, learning theories, and societal factors like inequality, alongside hands-on skill development through projects and work experience. In your final year, you'll conduct research on a relevant educational topic.
Career Paths
Our alumni pursue diverse educational careers. Some become teachers through PGCE, Schools Direct, or PCET programs, while others advance to Master's degrees or social work. Graduates also fill specialized support positions in educational institutions, administrative roles, play therapy, and learning assistance. Many work with nonprofit organizations serving vulnerable populations, or enter adult and community education fields.
