The 1-year MSc (by research) program, available in Psychology or Neuroscience, focuses entirely on an independent research endeavor spanning 12 months (or equivalent part-time duration). Students work under the guidance of one or more faculty members from the School, culminating in a thesis limited to 30,000 words. Both the PhD and MSc programs aim to deliver personalized training, which may include supervisory tutorials, specialized courses within the School of Psychology and Neuroscience or related departments, professional development through University resources like CAPOD, or external training opportunities. Students are also encouraged to attend conferences, seminars, and workshops both on and off campus.
