This program offers an in-depth exploration of Russian and Theological Studies through research-focused instruction, enabling students to grasp how knowledge is developed, expanded, and revitalized. It fosters independent learning among all participants, emphasizing curiosity, integrity, precision, and scholarly rigor. Spanning 48 months, the curriculum culminates in a Master of Arts (Honours) degree. Like all St Andrews programs, it consists of credit-based modules, requiring students to complete 480 credits—typically 120 per academic year. The initial two years feature mandatory program-specific courses alongside elective options (sometimes including interdisciplinary Faculty selections). The final years deliver specialized, research-driven education through tailored modules. The first two years combine core program requirements with diverse electives (potentially from other Faculties), while subsequent years focus on advanced, discipline-specific research learning.
