This program offers an in-depth exploration of Modern Languages (Italian and Persian) alongside Management studies, delivered through research-focused instruction. Participants will develop insights into how knowledge evolves, progresses, and transforms. The curriculum fosters independent learning among all students, emphasizing curiosity, precision, academic integrity, and rigorous scholarship. Spanning 60 months, this course leads to a Master of Arts (Honours) degree. Like all St Andrews programs, it comprises credit-based modules, requiring students to complete 540 credits total, typically earning 120 credits annually. The initial two years combine mandatory program-specific courses with elective options (potentially including interdisciplinary Faculty offerings). Subsequent years focus on specialized, research-driven modules tailored to the program's academic objectives. The first two years blend essential core subjects with diverse electives (sometimes incorporating cross-Faculty courses), while later years concentrate on advanced, program-aligned research learning.
