Contemporary biochemists investigate life's molecular mechanisms. Our Biochemistry MSci (an integrated master's program in science) explores subjects ranging from DNA to proteins, individual molecules to cells, and even complex organisms. This program equips students for careers in clinical biochemistry, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical sciences while establishing a strong base for advanced research or doctoral studies. You'll gain comprehensive biochemistry knowledge and hands-on laboratory experience. Our faculty consists of leading researchers who will guide you in applying biochemistry to drug development and studying cell biology, pathology, pharmacology, and genetics.
During the fourth year, students collaborate with research teams on innovative projects, investigating disease mechanisms, cancer biology, molecular structures, and genetic recognition. This opportunity enhances research capabilities while contributing to our collective understanding of this captivating scientific discipline.
