Become proficient in two contemporary languages while exploring how languages form, evolve, and are acquired. Select French, German, or Spanish combined with linguistics studies. This accelerated program takes you from beginner to master's level in just four years, including an international study year at partner universities in one or two countries. Enhance your linguistic abilities and analytical skills while immersing yourself in foreign societies and cultures. Beginners are welcome with additional support including intensive classes and funded language courses abroad after your first year. Your language journey will enable you to:
develop fluency and understand native language usage
acquire cultural interpretation skills to analyze beliefs and social norms
examine societies where your target languages are spoken
complete a research project on a subject of personal interest
