Merge your engineering expertise with biological and medical sciences. Master the creation, refinement, and evaluation of medical equipment while specializing in preferred domains such as prosthetics, biocompatible materials, and bone-related engineering. Biomedical engineering is an expanding discipline, making this program an excellent pathway to a fulfilling career as a certified engineer. The initial two years of this specialized curriculum mirror our Mechanical Engineering degree. During years three and four, you can concentrate on subjects like biomechanics and ergonomic considerations in engineering. You'll have access to our design labs and studios while gaining hands-on experience through diverse projects. This program enables you to: utilize our comprehensive engineering resources, exhibit your creations at our yearly Engineering Design Exhibition, study digital analysis tools physicians use to process extensive patient datasets, apply your knowledge through an independent research project and a collaborative final-year design challenge, collaborate with peers from various engineering disciplines.
