This specialized rugby coaching program provides a pathway to earn globally recognized World Rugby/Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) coaching certifications, ensuring graduates possess competitive qualifications for career advancement. Developed in partnership with WRU and professional Welsh rugby teams, the curriculum benefits from input by WRU coaching specialists, regional team educators, and UKSCA conditioning professionals who actively participate in course delivery. Students can pursue multiple credentials including Rugby Union Level 1-2 coaching certifications (for both youth and adult programs), officiating qualifications, while gaining hands-on experience through performance analysis and strength conditioning modules.
This program prepares students for diverse rugby-related careers, from coaching and sport science roles to performance analysis and physical conditioning positions. Career opportunities include Rugby Development Officers, Academy Coaches, Performance Analysts, Strength Coaches, Sport Scientists, PE instructors, and military fitness roles.
