If your grades don't meet the direct entry requirements for our BSc (Hons) Computer Forensics program, this BCS-accredited Foundation Year provides an alternative pathway. The additional preparatory year equips you with essential fundamentals for undergraduate studies. This foundation level emphasizes computing and mathematics to establish a strong numerical foundation that will benefit you throughout your degree. In this hands-on and highly regarded Computer Forensics program, you'll explore subjects like forensic methodologies, digital evidence analysis, cryptography, cybersecurity, legal and ethical considerations, and cybercrime. Upon completing the course, you'll possess the skills to handle forensic investigations and conduct technical examinations of digital evidence. Our curriculum draws from active research and professional consultancy experience, including work with law enforcement and government agencies. The program includes practical legal training, preparing you to present evidence in court. Additionally, you can pursue the optional AccessData Certified Examiner certification (exam fees apply), a respected industry qualification.
