The BSc (Hons) Applied Cyber Security program stands out by combining rigorous academic theory with extensive hands-on training. Developed in partnership with industry leaders, our curriculum provides students with workplace-relevant skills through direct collaboration with professionals. You'll learn to safeguard computer systems by identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing digital evidence, and solving real-world security challenges. The program features industry-led projects and live briefs, ensuring your education remains practical and career-focused. This experiential learning approach helps build professional networks while preparing you for post-graduation expectations. Regular industry presentations will expose you to diverse cybersecurity career paths and guide your professional development. As part of the National Cyber Security Academy - a collaboration between the university, Welsh Government, and industry specialists - this course addresses the skills shortage by training the next generation of cybercrime fighters. Additional Requirements
The University normally requires a minimum 5 GCSEs including Mathematics/Numeracy and English at Grade C or Grade 4 or above, or their equivalent, but consideration is given to individual circumstances.


IELTS - 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each component. TOEFL - 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing (including Home Edition).
