Develop expertise in applying advanced quantitative and analytical techniques to economic policy and practice, guided by specialists from both disciplines.

This program combines economic theory with financial perspectives, providing training in sophisticated mathematical and statistical methods. You'll learn to utilize these approaches, along with financial knowledge, to solve diverse economic challenges.

Starting in your first year with core economic concepts, you'll progressively develop both theoretical frameworks and quantitative abilities. Advanced years offer specialization options, allowing you to choose between applied modules or methodological focus in your final year.

The program includes an optional paid placement year after your second year with leading UK organizations - past partners have included the Bank of England, HM Treasury, IBM, and PwC.

Regardless of your chosen specialization, you'll graduate with practical competencies for careers in finance or as an economist across public and private sectors.
