Qualification Requirements

Applications for the degree of MD are welcomed from the following graduates in Medicine: Holder of the degrees of MBChB of this University of at least three years’ standing. Recognised graduates in Medicine who hold a qualification conferring eligibility for full or provisional registration with the General Medical Council, and who at the time of registration hold an appointment as a full-time or part-time member of the established or honorary staff of this University. Recognised graduates in Medicine of at least three years standing who hold a qualification conferring eligibility for full or provisional registration with the General Medical Council, and a Higher Degree from this or another University. Students whose first language is not English must have an IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6 in each component) or a University equivalent.
