For those without the typical science or math background required for our programs, the foundation year provides essential preparation. This initial year focuses on building your knowledge and abilities to reach the necessary level for degree studies.
Your coursework will cover physics, mathematics, and chemistry subjects. After successfully finishing the foundation year, you'll qualify to begin the first year of any physics degree program we offer.
You'll have flexibility to choose a specialization later in your studies and can often transfer between different degree options. The final year includes an in-depth independent research project.
Physics graduates gain valuable numerical, analytical, and data interpretation skills applicable to diverse careers such as software development, data analysis, engineering, and scientific research. These competencies address critical modern challenges - from advancing sustainable energy solutions and healthcare innovations to pioneering quantum communication networks and space exploration technologies.
