For those lacking formal qualifications in mathematics or science, this foundation year offers intensive study in math, chemistry, physics, and engineering fundamentals. Upon successful completion, you'll progress directly into the first year of either our BEng or MEng programs.
If you're missing the typical science or math prerequisites for engineering studies, our foundation year bridges that gap. After finishing this preparatory year with its focused modules in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, you'll be ready to begin the MEng program.

Our alumni find success across diverse chemical engineering fields, from biological and pharmaceutical applications to digital manufacturing, with skills that position them for future industry demands.

The curriculum focuses on designing processes and products for material and energy production, transformation, and transportation. We'll enhance your technical abilities, research methods, and problem-solving techniques to launch your career in any engineering specialization.

Hands-on learning forms a core part of our approach. Through laboratory sessions, project work, and open-ended challenges, you'll gain practical expertise and real-world experience.

Our pilot plant facility allows you to scale up classroom concepts using industrial-grade equipment, providing unique hands-on training that mirrors professional engineering environments and prepares you for industrial challenges.

During your third year, you'll participate in a comprehensive process design project, developing essential chemical engineering design competencies.

Your fourth year features an independent research project guided by faculty experts, allowing you to specialize in an area of personal interest within the field.
