Tailored for students aspiring to careers in industrial or academic research, this program features an intensive fourth-year research project. The initial three years mirror the BSc curriculum structure.
This program provides an ideal foundation for research careers in both industry and academia. While the first three years follow the BSc framework, the fourth year focuses entirely on a significant research initiative, allowing you to collaborate in laboratories with our internationally renowned academics.

Biomedical science focuses on comprehending human biology and our capacity to manage it during health and illness.

Our Biomedical science programs encompass all aspects from human physiology and pharmacology to molecular and cellular biology, preparing you to shape the future of clinical medicine. You'll examine genetic disorders, cancer mechanisms, age-related physiological changes (including auditory decline), and approaches to combat antimicrobial resistance. The curriculum includes explorations of stem cell therapies and pharmaceutical developments for inflammatory conditions.

Throughout your studies, you can concentrate on specialized fields like stem cell research and oncology, neuroscience, physiology and pharmacology, or developmental and cellular biology. Regardless of your chosen specialization, your personal tutor will assist in customizing your degree to align with your professional aspirations and academic interests.
