Explore core principles in mechatronics and robotics, covering essential topics like mathematics, computer science, control systems, electronics, and embedded technologies.
This program with a preparatory year is designed for students lacking prior scientific or mathematical training for our engineering degrees. The foundation year strengthens your capabilities in relevant subjects, preparing you for degree-level studies.
You'll engage with coursework in mathematics, advanced mathematics, physics, and engineering fundamentals. These modules cover crucial concepts ranging from differential calculus to atomic structures, while hands-on engineering projects let you apply this knowledge and grasp core engineering theories.
Upon successfully finishing your foundation year, you'll advance to the first year of our three-year BEng in Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering.
Robotics integrates multiple engineering disciplines, demanding diverse technical expertise. Throughout the program, you'll learn from robotics and mechatronics researchers while gaining practical experience in designing, evaluating, and testing robotic systems, autonomous vehicles, and complex electromechanical devices. Final-year students can customize their studies through elective modules.
Our curriculum equips you for professional environments where you'll employ creative problem-solving and engineering knowledge in real-world scenarios while collaborating across disciplines. These versatile skills are valuable across various engineering fields and other industries.
