A versatile curriculum covering key areas driving advancements in electrical engineering, while solidifying fundamental engineering concepts. Essential subjects encompass power systems, power electronics, electrical machinery, drive technologies, and motion control systems.
First-year students participate in the faculty's Global Engineering Challenge, collaborating across disciplines to address practical engineering challenges. Second-year students undertake industry-sponsored projects, while the Sheffield Industrial Project Scheme provides valuable corporate experience.
