The foundation year program offers individuals with non-traditional qualifications comprehensive academic preparation to excel in degree-level studies within the Department of Urban Studies and Planning. After successfully finishing the foundation year, participants will advance to the BA Geography and Planning program. This preparatory year is specifically structured to boost self-assurance, cultivate key academic abilities, and deliver specialized subject knowledge crucial for achievement. Be prepared for the demands that undergraduate degree level study will place upon you
Be 21 or Over.
A minimum GCSE grade D/3 in Mathematics (or equivalent) may also be required. A GCSE grade C/4 may be required for some science programmes.
IELTS - Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, TOEFL - Overall score of 80 with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking and 17 in Writing, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI - Overall score of 56 with a minimum of 51 in each component.
