This program's foundation year offers students with non-traditional qualifications comprehensive academic preparation for degree-level studies in the Management School. After successfully finishing the foundation year, students advance to the BA Business Management program. The foundation year is specifically structured to boost your confidence, cultivate crucial academic and study techniques, and deliver the subject-specific knowledge needed for achievement. You'll learn through the Department for Lifelong Learning, which brings nearly four decades of expertise in supporting mature students to realize their potential for success in higher education.

Have been out of formal full-time Level 3 education (usually A-Levels or Access courses) for 2 plus years
Have potential to succeed on your chosen course, evidenced by a combination of work, life and prior educational experience
Have an understanding and commitment to the subject-area of your chosen course
Be prepared for the demands that undergraduate degree level study will place upon you
Be 21 or Over.
A minimum GCSE grade D/3 in Mathematics (or equivalent) may also be required. A GCSE grade C/4 may be required for some science programmes.
IELTS - Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, TOEFL - Overall score of 80 with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking and 17 in Writing, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI - Overall score of 56 with a minimum of 51 in each component.
