The MSc in Sports Performance Analysis is a specialized program tailored for students aiming to advance their careers in performance analysis and elite sports practice. This course provides students with advanced theoretical knowledge combined with hands-on skills to offer high-quality support to athletes, coaches, and sports organizations.

You'll work with professional-grade tools and software to analyze, track, and enhance individual and team performance. Additionally, you'll critically examine academic research in performance analysis and evaluate its impact on current studies.

This multidisciplinary program explores the performance analyst's role across coaching, strength training, injury recovery, and other practical applications. Through the Performance Analysis Module, you'll adopt a comprehensive approach to performance science, culminating in a research project that demonstrates your expertise. You'll also collaborate with sports professionals to evaluate movement analysis techniques for boosting performance and reducing injury risks in the Injury Prevention and Performance Measurement module.

Qualification Requirements

BSc/BA (Hons) graduates with an appropriate sports or exercise related subject area (Sports Science, Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Coaching). Prospective students will normally be required to have achieved a 2.1 Honours degree, but consideration will be given to students with a 2.2 Honours degree with appropriate experience and satisfactory references.

An IELTS score of 6.0 (no element below 5.5) is proof of this.
TOEFL IBT and TOELF IBT (home edition): 79 overall including minimum listening - 17, reading - 18, writing - 17, speaking - 20.
