In the BA (Hons) TV and Radio Production program, you'll master storytelling techniques, develop compelling concepts, pitch and present ideas effectively, and hone skills in scriptwriting, research, and pre-production for radio, television, or digital platforms. The curriculum includes practical industry briefs, while hands-on training covers camera operation, lighting, studio production, editing, sound design, and production management. You'll also explore theoretical frameworks to strengthen your practical work with academic depth.
Situated in MediaCity's vibrant hub, you'll have direct access to major media organizations like the BBC and ITV, alongside innovative startups throughout Salford and Manchester. Our campus features professional-grade equipment matching nearby broadcasters' standards, and we maintain strong industry connections through regular guest visits.
