This intensive two-year program is delivered full-time across three European countries: the UK, Sweden, and Spain, equipping students for global careers in human rights advocacy.
The MA Erasmus Mundus Human Rights Policy and Practice focuses on developing professional competencies, including:
Exploring diverse academic perspectives (legal, political, sociological, and anthropological) on safeguarding human rights in our interconnected world.
Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of human rights challenges through interdisciplinary study, blending theoretical frameworks with practical applications across law, sociology, anthropology, international relations, civil society, and political science.
Developing the ability to analyze human rights concerns through multiple lenses, integrate cross-disciplinary theories, critically assess various viewpoints, and evaluate their practical implementation by different organizations and stakeholders.
These core components prepare graduates to meaningfully advance human rights initiatives worldwide within NGOs, governmental bodies, and both public and private institutions.
