You'll master fundamental lab techniques including titration, pipetting, and experimental design for projects ranging from climate impact studies to animal trait analysis.
The curriculum trains you in environmental surveying, measurement collection, sample gathering, biochemical testing, and data interpretation through report writing and research presentations.
Fieldwork includes conservation biology exercises at Wimbledon Common and a week-long Welsh expedition studying diverse UK ecosystems like rivers, dunes, forests, and coastal areas. This immersive experience provides ideal training for habitat or conservation careers while developing ecological, behavioral, and physiological field research skills.
