Our Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Development combines technical expertise with creative abilities, equipping you with both software development and web design knowledge. During the initial year, you'll build programming proficiency and learn to handle existing datasets. You'll also develop a critical perspective on digital media while acquiring image editing techniques and website prototyping skills. As you progress through the program, you'll refine your software development and data analysis capabilities. Additionally, you'll discover how to create compelling, user-friendly websites and mobile applications.

Following the first year, you can select elective courses aligned with your professional goals, including strategic digital communication, game development, animation techniques, project leadership, and digital narrative creation. The curriculum also covers essential cybersecurity principles for organizational protection.

Between your second and third years, you have the opportunity to complete an industry placement, providing practical experience directly related to your future career path.

We welcome applicants to study with us at University of Roehampton with T Levels. T Levels are a new award that are equivalent to three A-levels.

We'll accept T Levels for entry onto our undergraduate degree courses (including our extended courses with a foundation year) and our Degree Apprenticeships.
