Our PhD programs cover diverse accounting-related topics, spanning both theoretical and practical research areas. These include financial decision-making processes, global regulatory frameworks and policy evaluation, sustainable accounting practices, accounting pedagogy, as well as corporate governance and accountability mechanisms.

All research students benefit from our structured research framework, which guarantees comprehensive supervision and essential research methodology training.

The PhD can be undertaken either through full-time or part-time study at Henley Business School. Part-time candidates have the flexibility to conduct research remotely, particularly when affiliated with research-capable institutions like overseas universities. In such cases, joint supervision is required from both Henley Business School and the partner institution.
