The LLM Advanced Legal Studies program provides in-depth legal education at an advanced academic level. This flexible LLM curriculum allows students to customize their learning experience according to their professional goals and interests across various legal disciplines. The program is designed to develop the expertise and competencies needed to excel as legal practitioners, academics, and industry leaders.
Beyond delivering substantive legal education, the course fosters critical thinking skills to identify and analyze complex issues, source appropriate materials, and construct well-reasoned arguments that incorporate policy considerations, current practices, and advanced theoretical knowledge.
Course modules are delivered through multiple academic units, including the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) Centre.

Normally a good undergraduate honours degree (2.1 or above) in Law, or equivalent from a university outside the UK
Applicants who have a 2.2 plus 3 years relevant work experience (and/or have passed the Bar exam will also be considered)
IELTS - 6.5 with no component below 5.5 in any sub-skills, TOEFL IBT - Overall score of 88 with no less than 17 in Listening and Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking
Pearson PTE (Academic) - Overall score of 69 with no area less than 59
