This two-year Master's program in Social Work prepares you with the essential skills and practical experience to launch your career as a qualified social worker, enabling you to positively impact vulnerable groups including children and families, individuals with mental health challenges, people with disabilities, and at-risk adults. The curriculum blends academic knowledge with hands-on application - you'll study current laws, policy frameworks, and intervention strategies before implementing them in real-world professional environments. The program includes two mandatory fieldwork placements (one each academic year), typically arranged with NHS-affiliated social service organizations. Financial support is available through the NHS postgraduate bursary, covering tuition fees, living expenses, and partial travel costs for placements. Upon graduation, you'll qualify to register with Social Work England, the profession's regulatory authority.
