Combat and address digital crime by honing your IT expertise for today's interconnected business landscape that demands your specialized knowledge. This Master's program combines two interrelated fields: cyber security - safeguarding data and systems from online threats, and forensic IT - identifying and gathering digital evidence of illegal activities. You'll investigate hacker techniques while learning prevention and countermeasures. The curriculum covers post-attack protocols and proper evidence presentation for legal proceedings. Through hands-on work in our computer labs and forensic facilities, you'll create and deploy your own computer virus on a virtual system, bypass anti-forensic techniques designed to conceal criminal evidence, and simulate cybercriminal apprehensions. The program delves into encryption, penetration testing, and programming languages including Linux.
