These techniques will enhance your grasp of heritage preservation, particularly the physical and non-physical elements that shape our historical, modern, cultural, and societal values. Our team of conservation specialists will guide you in refining your abilities and strengthening your professional expertise.

During your studies, you'll explore why preserving heritage structures matters, the economic challenges and implications involved, and optimal approaches to management and restoration. Engage with interior, architectural, and urban scales and their relationships, analyze diverse heritage sites across different eras, connect conservation principles to real-world scenarios, and experiment with innovative technologies. Additionally, you can develop professional competencies in legal, managerial, and administrative aspects.

Upon finishing our MA Architecture: Historic Building and Conservation program, you'll be fully equipped to embark on a career in historic preservation and site conservation.

If you're applying as an international student with a non-UK degree, youll need to show you meet the UK entry requirements listed-
A good honours degree in a relevant subject, such as
Architecture, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, Geography, Spatial Practices, Fine Art, Other design-related subject.
Equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will also be considered, such as previous study, employment, voluntary work and training courses, including courses and qualifications you didn't complete. Learn more about our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

If you don't have relevant qualifications and/or experience, you'll need to provide a portfolio to support your application.

IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) with no component score below 6.0.
TOEFL-IBT - overall score of 91 with a minimum of (20 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 21 in Speaking, 20 in Writing)
