Gestalt counseling (derived from the German term meaning 'complete' or 'form') is a comprehensive, person-centered method that assists individuals in gaining insight into themselves, their drives, and their environment as an integrated system. Gestalt therapists guide clients in discovering fresh viewpoints on challenges to foster meaningful improvements in their lives.
Throughout this Gestalt Counseling DipHE program, you'll develop skills to support people in examining their present emotions, thought processes, and actions, enabling deeper comprehension of their circumstances. This approach can aid in addressing interpersonal conflicts and psychological concerns like worry, low mood, and tension.
For working professionals, this program accommodates busy schedules, with scheduled classes held one weekday per week, six Saturday workshops spread across the curriculum, and periodic evening and weekend activities.
Upon graduation, you'll have the option to upgrade your diploma to a full Bachelor's degree. Career opportunities include practicing as a Gestalt counselor in diverse fields such as education, law enforcement, correctional facilities, and nonprofit organizations.
