This program offers you the chance to pursue pure or applied research alongside leading experts in physical geography, covering fields like hydrology, glaciology, geomorphology (fluvial, glacial, desert), and Quaternary environmental change. You'll join a vibrant interdisciplinary research community, collaborating with your supervisor on a specialized project that leads to a postgraduate qualification.
The ResM combines coursework with an in-depth research project, culminating in a thesis. This structure enables you to explore a research topic of personal interest while deepening your knowledge of physical geography and related disciplines within the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences.

a first or upper second (2:1) degree with honours or professional qualification, recognised as being equivalent to degree standard, or
an ordinary degree, foundation degree, higher national diploma, or university diploma, accompanied by substantial experience in an appropriate field.
