Zoology explores the scientific study of animals. This program provides comprehensive knowledge of animal biology across land, marine, and freshwater ecosystems. You'll acquire expertise in animal ecology and evolutionary processes while mastering essential laboratory techniques in behavior, molecular biology, physiology, and cell biology - skills highly valued by employers and essential for advanced studies.
Throughout your degree, you'll obtain hands-on experience through various lab and field exercises, with opportunities to join residential field trips during your first two years. Previous destinations have included Slapton Ley in Devon and wildlife-rich regions of Kenya.
