Offered by the School of Biomedical Sciences within the Faculty of Health, this program benefits from collaborations with healthcare experts, creating a dynamic learning environment. Students can boost their career prospects through an optional placement year. Our 2020 National Student Survey results highlight that all students found the program intellectually engaging.
Career pathways encompass: biomedical research, NHS laboratory roles, medical technology, health counseling, pharmaceutical industries, product development, environmental services, food safety, cosmetics sector, science communication, education, and advanced academic pursuits (MSc, MRes, PhD).
For aspiring medical professionals, we offer five reserved spots for medicine/dentistry transfers after Year 1 in BMS or HB programs, plus additional graduate entry options.
