The Perception and Action research team investigates how individuals coordinate their movements and comprehend others' actions.

Their techniques involve fMRI, DTI TMS, tDCS, MEG, EEG, along with robotic and virtual reality systems. Studies concentrate on purposeful hand movements while also examining involuntary motions, spontaneous imitation, and awareness of one's body and personal space. Research spans all age groups from childhood to elderly populations, including studies on congenital conditions, developmental changes, neurodegenerative diseases, and stroke-related brain impairments.
