The Human Development and Learning research team employs diverse methodologies to explore fundamental questions about childhood development, learning processes, and variations in atypical development. Specializing in autism research and primary school-aged development, the group leverages the annual Summer Scientist Week for concentrated studies with young participants. While primarily housed in Psychology, the team maintains collaborative partnerships across Psychiatry, Education, and Computer Science departments, including involvement with Horizon's digital futures initiative.
