Course overview
This program examines the interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world. You'll acquire essential competencies to address ecological issues and promote sustainable solutions.
Our combined masters program allows you to deepen your environmental science expertise while enhancing communication abilities, research methodologies, and project leadership skills.
The scientific community must address pressing ecological concerns:
global warming
species extinction and habitat degradation
pollution of ecosystems
Explore diverse disciplines like geography and biology, with opportunities to focus on your preferred specialization.
All environmental science students participate in field studies to gain hands-on experience. These practical applications help translate theoretical knowledge into sought-after professional competencies.
Assessment methods
We employ various evaluation approaches, including examinations, written assignments, oral presentations, and laboratory work. Clear grading rubrics will be provided to outline performance expectations.
You'll receive timely evaluations and consistent feedback. Annual progression requires passing all components, typically with minimum 40% scores per module.
Students not maintaining a 55% average by Year 2 will transition to the three-year BSc track. Complete grading policies will be explained during orientation.
Study abroad opportunities require meeting first-year academic benchmarks.
Career prospects
Graduates find employment with:
wildlife preservation groups
ecological advisory firms
renewable energy providers
municipal and governmental organizations
Potential positions include:
environmental educators
