Person-centered experiential therapy falls under the humanistic-existential psychology approach. The MA program in Person-Centered Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy equips students with essential theoretical knowledge, professional competencies, and personal growth for successful counseling practice. Drawing from more than five decades of counseling heritage, our instruction is shaped by distinguished academics and practitioners from the School of Education. Their specialized insights demonstrate how this therapeutic approach creates meaningful change for individuals and communities. Students complete a counseling placement under the guidance of certified practice educators, fostering hands-on experience and professional development. Opportunities exist to connect with broader academic networks through workshops, seminars, and conferences hosted either by external institutions or our program faculty.
