Our LLM in International Criminal Justice and Armed Conflict addresses contemporary legal and political challenges related to warfare and justice, analyzing legal frameworks before, during, and after conflicts.

You'll gain comprehensive understanding of laws regulating state use of force, rules governing combat operations, and the international criminal justice framework. The program also examines legal and philosophical approaches to addressing international crimes.

Instruction comes from field specialists, many with hands-on experience at institutions like the International Criminal Court and Special Court for Sierra Leone.

The school fosters collaborative learning, enhanced through the Criminal Justice Research Center's activities. This includes annual guest speaker events and participation in our monthly PhD-led discussion forum.
