Cognitive neuroscience explores how our brains enable thinking, emotions, and behaviors. This program combines fundamental psychology courses with hands-on cognitive neuroscience labs. You'll gain expertise in brain imaging techniques, behavioral assessment, and physiological psychology. During your first and third years, you can select from various elective modules, allowing you to focus on psychology topics that intrigue you most. With faculty specialists spanning all psychology disciplines, we provide diverse options like the Neuropsychology and Applied Neuroimaging module, which examines how brain injuries affect speech, memory, and movement. Psychology students may also participate in our Psychology Insights initiative, collaborating with community partners on real-world projects.
